Max & shay
Max Konrad is originally from Colorado and moved to San Diego after being stationed at Camp Pendleton during his service with the United States Marine Corps. Following a career ending training injury, Max decided to join an MBA program to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit.
Shay Lynne is a San Diego native who has always been passionate about hair. Her hair obsession began at a very young age since she had frizzy, thin, unmanageable hair. To her friends, she soon became the go to "Hair Guru", and found herself trying several different hair products. She soon discovered the world of hair extensions, as her hair has always been on the thinner side. She tried many clip in brands, but was never fully satisfied with the comfort or the quality of the hair available.
Konlynne Hair
Max and Shay decided to combine their interests, thus creating Konlynne Hair. After doing much research they discovered that Indian Hair is the most desirable because of its fullness, texture, and ability to blend in the most naturally with another's real hair. With Shay having family in India, she was able to make connections with a prestigious hair supplier in Southern India. Shay and Max knew that they only wanted to sell a very high quality product.
With their supplier they were able to create a product that not only uses the highest quality hair on the market, but they also made sure the quality of the clips were great too. The clips have been reengineered to move with you, making them super comfortable for all day wear.

Located in South India our supplier was a pioneer in the Indian Human Hair industry and is the trusted source for supreme quality human hair. Their Quality Control team carefully scrutinizes the product every step of the way ensuring only the best is delivered. Every clip in is painstakingly hand crafted to ensure that the comfort fit requirement is met. It was very important to Max & Shay to find a supplier who was ISO9001 certified, and to also find a supplier who believed in giving back to the community.
We are also proud to support The White Rainbow Project who is our supplier for all of our accessories. They are a non-profit organization operating out of Vrindavan, India supporting widows who have been abandoned by their families and cast out by society.
